HELP EDUCATE A CHILD Hundreds of thousands of Uganda children from poverty stricken homes are without basic primary education. Due to the AIDS epidemic and civil war, large numbers of children end up in the streets. Many have watched both their parents die slowly of AIDS. They have no choice but to turn to begging or to prostitution as their only means of survival. For them, an education is literally a way out of deprivation; a lifeline where they will get an opportunity to contribute to their community and a nation much in need of development. These kids just want a chance to help themselves! We will channel your donation, large or small, directly to the education of a child of your choice. You will receive a photo of them, they will write to you and you will have the joy of following their progress to a new and rewarding life. BRING CLEAN WATER TO THE WONDERFUL ORPHANS OF HOPE HOME Last March, I traveled to Uganda to spend time with the children at Message of Hope Home and School. The children were so joyous and welcoming. I watched them carrying heavy "jerry cans" of water every day from the community bore hole. Sometimes they had to wait all day for their turn, as the adults take their turn first. I investigated the drilling of a well right on the beautiful 10 acre property of Home Home. then I heard that the children had been banned from gathering water at the community bore hole. We swung into action! The children now have their own clean water supply and will not have to miss classes to haul water. UPDATE! THE WELL IS IN AND WORKING! We DID it... Together! Now we need to be able to take in a few more children off the street and into safety and love. Can you help us to do this? The kids will write you letters! clothing, school books. These children know the value of an education
and they are so eager to learn. You can contribute $10, $20, $30, or $40
per month toward the sponsorship of a child of your choice. We'll send you

letters. We know, because we have witnessed their joy and gratitude at receiving food, clothes, a safe place to
sleep and a chance to go to school. Last trip, we were able to purchase 35 mosquito bed nets for 35
kids. You should have seen their excitement. This will dramatically
reduce their chances of contracting malaria. Help us help one of these
enthusiastic young people toward a rewarding, educated life! They will
write you of their goals. Many want to return to their villages to help,
after completing their schooling. You can send a young senior student to university for just $1500. a year. Give a GIFT OF

may choose a community project you'd like to help with. You can give
a gift of livestock, fruit trees or seeds for a village family who is working
towards sustaining themselves through agriculture. You can buy them
a goat, chickens or get them started on a pig-raising project Or
perhaps you would like to contribute a sewing machine and training to use it. We train the village women who want to learn that craft as a way of earning a living. How would you like to help?
